Daxing Township
Daxing Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Du'an Yao Autonomous County, Hechi City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the northwest of Du'an County, bordering Gaoling town in the southeast, Baoan Township in the southwest, longfu Township in the west, Xiazhu Township and Shui'an Township in the north. The people's government is located in jiudun village, 30 kilometers away from the county people's government. The administrative area is 166.70 square kilometers.
In 1933, Daxing Township was established, belonging to Du'an County. In 1958, it belonged to happy commune. In 1962, Daxing commune was changed into Daxing District. In 1984, Daxing commune changed to township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Daxing Township was 37279. As of June 2020, Daxing rural area has 13 administrative villages. In 2018, Daxing Township had 10 industrial enterprises and 19 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Daxing Township is located in the semi mountainous and semi Pingchuan karst valley. The terrain is north-south. The terrain is divided into two parts: the central part is a gorge and Pingchuan, and the eastern and western parts are dashishan. Diaosheng mountain, the highest peak in the territory, is located in nongmo village, 79.4 meters above sea level.

Daxing Township has a subtropical monsoon climate with four distinct seasons, hot and rainy seasons and long frost free period. Daxing Township River belongs to Xiaoqing River system. The source of Chengjiang river is bawendian, jiudun village, Daxing Township. It flows through Guolong village to xiangshuiguan, Sanhe Village, Gaoling town. It joins with Lingtong River in Taiyang village, Daxing Township. It flows southward through Gaoling town and into Hongshui River. The river is 12.7 km long
natural disaster
The main natural disasters in Daxing Township include geological disasters, early drought, flood, gale, hail, late spring cold, etc. The main geological disaster is dangerous rocks. 19 hidden dangers of dangerous rocks were found in the township, the most serious of which was the collapse in front of the rock mountain in meitun, Nong, Meizhu village in 1991. Seven people died and four were seriously injured. The most serious drought was no rain for 10 consecutive months from the second half of 2009 to the first half of 2010, and 75% of the farmers were short of water.
