Zhaodu town

Zhaodu town belongs to Dali County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. Located in the east of Dali County, it is a beach area of the Yellow River. It faces Shanxi across the Yellow River in the East, Weihe River in the south, Qindong town in Tongguan County, Luohe River in the west, Chaoyi town in the west, and Minmin town in the north. The total area is 150.90 square kilometers.

As of June 2020, zhaodu town has 15 administrative villages. As of 2018, the registered residence of Zhao Du Town was 32637. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of zhaodu town was 84.89 million yuan, and the total industrial output value reached 3 million yuan.

Historical evolution

This place is adjacent to the Yellow River in the East and Luoshui in the West. There is a yellow river ferry in the east of the village, named zhaodu after the surname Zhao.

In Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Changchun township.

During the reign of Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the South Road.

During the reign of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty, it was Anliang Bureau.

In the Republic of China, it belonged to Zhonghe township.

In 1950, it was zhaodu township.

In 1958, it was the zhaodu administrative area of Chaoyi commune.

In 1960, it was abandoned because of the construction of Sanmenxia reservoir.

In 1988, after the immigrants returned to the reservoir, they rebuilt and named zhaodu township.

In January 2002, it merged with Yulin Township into zhaodu township.

In February 2011, the township was replaced by zhaodu town.
