Garden Street

Huayuan street, a street under the jurisdiction of Zhenxing District, Dandong City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northeast of Zhenxing District. It is adjacent to Yongchang street in the East and gymnasium road in the East. It is bounded by west ridge of Qidao street in Yuanbao District, Jinshan street in the southeast and Liudaogou Street in the southeast, Taoyuan ridge in the West and Tongxing town in Zhen'an District, and Guntuling ridge in the north and Jinshan Town in Yuanbao District, with a total area of 18 square kilometers.

Before liberation, Taoyuan Street was under the jurisdiction of Zhongxing District of Antong city (now Dandong City); in 1984, the name of Huayuan street was put into use; in 2000, Huayuan street was classified as Zhenxing District. At the end of 2011, the total population of Huayuan street was 34400. As of June 2020, Huayuan street has jurisdiction over 6 communities and 1 administrative village.

In 2011, the total financial revenue of Huayuan street was 91.9 million yuan, an increase of 26% over the previous year. The local fiscal revenue was 79.33 million yuan. From the perspective of major taxes, we have completed 11 million yuan of business tax, 29.8 million yuan of value-added tax and 12.5 million yuan of enterprise income tax. The per capita net income of farmers is 10718 yuan.

History of construction

Before liberation, it was under the jurisdiction of Taoyuan Street in Zhongxing District of Antong city (now Dandong City).

In May 1947, Anton was liberated for the second time. Zhongxing district was renamed Zhenxing District. Taoyuan Street was divided into Huayuan street and Taoyuan Street.

In 1956, the garden set up a high-level agricultural production society, known as the red flag society, which belongs to the revitalization area.

In 1958, the garden commune was established, belonging to the revitalization area.

In 1968, the garden commune was established. Under the jurisdiction of Hongsheng No.1 brigade, Hongsheng No.2 Brigade (later known as garden brigade), Baifang brigade and Xinli Brigade (vegetable fields are distributed in Liudaogou, fiber and maokuishan streets).

In 1969, Huayuan commune was put under the jurisdiction of Zhenan district.

In 1971, Huayuan commune was designated as Zhenxing District.

In 1984, the name of garden street came into use. Under the jurisdiction of Zhen'an District. It has four villager committees, namely, Dongfang West Garden Road, Hongli Garden Road, urban residents committee, and so on.

In 2000, Huayuan street was classified as Zhenxing District.

Huayuan street is located in Qianshan Mountain, Dagu Dingzi, qianchai mountain, low hill area. Yinghua mountain, Jinjiang mountain, qidaoxi mountain, Guntuling mountain and Taoyuan mountain are surrounded in the East, North and West, forming a long plain in the north and south, with wide inside and narrow mouth in the south, adjacent to the Yalu River grade 1 deposit. There are three island ditches in the west, strawberry ditch, Furong ditch and Biaochang ditch in the East.

In the central part of Huayuan street, from north to Southeast, Huayuan river passes through and flows into Yalu River, with a total length of 7 km and a territory length of 6.95 km.
