Xiyan town
Xiyan town is located at the foot of Lishan Mountain, about 80 Li southeast of Yicheng County, Shanxi Province. It is located in Zhongcun town of Qinshui County in the East, Moli town of Jiang County in the west, and Lishan town of Yuanqu County in the south. Although Xiyan town is a remote mountainous town with lush mountains, vast land and sparse population, it is the throat of southern Shanxi from ancient times to the present. The town covers an area of 242 square kilometers, with 8220 mu of cultivated land, 9 administrative villages, 54 natural villages, 2165 households and 4058 people (2017).
In January 2019, Xiyan town was selected as the seventh batch of famous historical and cultural towns in China.
Xiyan town is located 37.5km southeast of Yicheng County, Shanxi Province, with Qinshui in the East and Jiangxian County in the West. It is a remote mountainous town with high mountains, lush forests, vast land and few people.
