Liuhe Town, belonging to Arong Banner, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the northeast of Arong Banner. It is adjacent to Molidawa Daur Autonomous Banner in the East, Gannan County in Heilongjiang Province in the south, Huoqi town in the West and Yadong town in the north. It is 40 kilometers away from Arong Banner government, with a total administrative area of 438.97 square kilometers.

In 1948, Liuhe Town belonged to Khingan nutuk; in 2001, it was changed from Liuhe Township to Liuhe Town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Liuhe town was 25015. In 2019, Liuhe Town governs one community, 16 administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in Baoguo village.

History of construction

In 1948, it belonged to Khingan nutuk.

In 1961, Liuhui commune was established.

In 1984, Liuhui commune was transformed into Liuhe Township.

In 2001, after the merging of Xing'an and zilaijing townships, Liuhe Township was changed into Liuhe Town.
