Xiegou Township

Xiegou Township belongs to Datong Hui and Tu Autonomous County, Xining City, Qinghai Province. Xiegou township is located in the semi shallow and semi Nao mountain area, facing Ta'er town across the river in the East, Miaogou village in Qiaotou town in the south, Lijiashan in Huangzhong County in the west, and Jile Township in Datong County in the north. The people's government is stationed at 375 hetanzhuang village. Xiegou township has an administrative area of 47.82 square kilometers. In late 2018, 8625 households registered residence in the inclined Valley Township.

In 1958, Xiegou Township and Chengguan town were merged into Chengguan commune. In 1961, it was divided into Xiegou commune from Chengguan commune, which has jurisdiction over six brigades: dayeba, xiaoyeba, hetanzhuang, Xiegou, yaodongzhuang and Qianyao. In 1966, Qianyao group was assigned to Liangjiao commune. Yebatai group was separated from dayeba group, and it was set up as blissful commune with blissful commune. In 1981, Xiegou commune was merged into Xiegou commune. The yaodongzhuang group was divided into upper yaodongzhuang group and lower yaodongzhuang group.
