Shuanghe town

Shuanghe Town, belonging to Keshan County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southeast of Keshan County and the South Bank of Wuyuer. It borders Henan Township in the East, Xingnong Township and Dazhong Township in Baiquan County in the south, Xinfa Township in Yi'an County in the west, Gucheng town and Keshan town across Wuyuer River in the north.

Shuanghe town was originally Shuanghe township. In April 2015, Shuanghe town was set up. By the end of 2018, the population of Shuanghe town registered residence was 35428. In 2019, Shuanghe town will have 12 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of Shuanghe town will be stationed in the village.

In 2018, there were 10 industrial enterprises in Shuanghe Town, including one above scale and 42 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

In the 21st year of Guangxu (1895) of the Qing Dynasty, Beizi mansion, belonging to mangnai palace, was established.

During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to mangnaigong police department. In 1947, it belonged to riverside district.

In 1949, it was under the jurisdiction of Binhe district and Henan district.

In April 1956, Shuanghe township was set up instead of regionalized township.

In August 1958, Shuanghe township was divided into Binhe Township and Henan township; in September of the same year, it was renamed people's commune.

In February 1963, Henan and Binhe communes were divided into two parts, and Shuanghe commune was established.

In April 1984, the government and society were separated and changed into Shuanghe township.

In 2001, Binhe township was merged into Shuanghe township.

On April 9, 2015, Shuanghe township was established into a town by withdrawing the township. Shuanghe township administrative region was the administrative region of Shuanghe Town, and the original subordinate relationship and the location of the government remained unchanged.

Shuanghe town is located in the transition zone between Songping plain and Xiaoxing'an Mountains, with high terrain in the South and low terrain in the northwest. The terrain is divided into hills and valleys, in which the south is hilly and the north is Valley and floodplain. The highest point is located in group 1 of Yixin village, 285 meters above sea level; the lowest point is located in group 8 of Zhongxin village, 190 meters above sea level.
