Wangzhuang Town

Wangzhuang Town, subordinate to Qufu City, Jining City, Shandong Province, is located in the north of Qufu City, bordering on Sishui County in the East, facing Shuyuan street across Sihe River in the south, Yaocun town in the west, Wucun town and Shimenshan town in the north. The people's Government of Wangzhuang Town is 5km away from Qufu City in the south, with a total area of 76.22km2.

Before the Sui Dynasty, Wang Zhuang Town belonged to Lu county; in July 2010, the town was relocated to the countryside. As of the end of 2018, Wang Zhuang town had 51006 registered residence population. As of June 2020, Wang Zhuang town had 29 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of the town people's government.

In 2011, the total financial revenue of Wangzhuang Town was 30.81 million yuan, including 26 million yuan of local financial revenue and 600 yuan of per capita financial revenue. In 2018, there were 98 industrial enterprises, 9 Enterprises above Designated Size and 41 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

Before Sui Dynasty, Wangzhuang Town belonged to Lu county.

Sui Dynasty, Qufu county

The first year of the Republic of China (1912), after the three districts of Qufu county.

In 1958, Chenzhuang commune was established.

In 1983, it was changed into Wangzhuang commune.

In July 1986, it was changed to Wangzhuang township.

In July 2010, the township was withdrawn to build Wangzhuang Town.
