Xincun Township

Xincun township is located in the southeast corner of Anyang County, 30 kilometers east of Anyang City. It is at the junction of Neihuang County and Tangyin County in Anyang County. Anyang county runs through it, adjacent to Yonghe township of Wadian Township in the west, Dougong township of Neihuang County in the East, Lucun Township and Beiguo Township in the north, and rengu town of Tangyin County across tangsha in the south. With convenient transportation and crisscross asphalt roads, the township has a total area of 76.1 square kilometers, 11 kilometers long from east to west and 7.5 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total cultivated area of 78496 mu. By the end of 1998, the total agricultural population was 60829, and 43 administrative villages were under its jurisdiction. Nanxin village, the seat of township government, is located on the South Bank of Huan River, 6 kilometers south of Anchu road.
