Located in Yuanzhou District of Guyuan City, Ningxia, with the implementation of labor migration project and the accelerating pace of urbanization, some people in the former Guanting Township moved out of the mountains and settled down in the river valley, Chuandao district and the surrounding areas of the town. The population of the former Guanting Township decreased significantly, with less than 3000 people living all year round.
