Zhonghua Road

Zhonghua Road is located in Taipei City, Taiwan Province, China. It starts from Zhongxiao West Road in the north and ends at Shuiyuan road in the south.

Zhonghua Road is located at the boundary between Wanhua District and Zhongzheng District, Taipei City, Taiwan Province, China. It starts from Zhongxiao West Road in the north and ends at Shuiyuan road in the south. Zhongxiao West Road to Aiguo West Road is the core part of Zhonghua Road. The above section is also a part of provincial highway Tai line 3. The blue line of Taipei MRT (Banqiao line, Nangang Line), the green line of Taipei MRT (Xiaonanmen line, Songshan line), the north section of Taiwan railway longitudinal line and Taiwan high-speed railway also pass under this road. In the past, the section of Zhonghua Road from Zhongxiao West Road to Aiguo West Road roughly overlaps with the west wall of Taipei city built during the Qing Dynasty. During the Japanese occupation period, the west city wall and the west gate were completely demolished in the early 1990s. The original site of the city wall was then widened slightly with the West moat which had been filled and leveled, and the West Third Line (today's Zhonghua Road) was built. Because the West third line had a railway running along the road before it was built, the overall road width was wider than the other three lines. Zhonghua Road is divided into two sections: the first section: it starts from the second section of Zhongxiao West Road in the north and connects with the second section of Zhonghua Road in the south, belonging to provincial highway Tai 3. section 2: it is connected with the section of Aiguo West Road and Zhonghua Road in the north, and Shuiyuan road in the South; the section from Aiguo West Road to Heping West Road is provincial highway 3.
