Tekou Jiagu Township

Tekoujiagu township was established in 1951, renamed as Shiyou Township in 1960, divided into Shiyou and longjue communes in 1972, merged into Shiyou commune in 1978, renamed tekoujia commune in 1981, and established tekoujiagu Township in 1984.

In December 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province agreed to cancel tekoujiagu Township and put its administrative area under the jurisdiction of Er Town, which is located at 88 Tangqi street, Tangqi village.

Tekou Jiagu township is located in the southeast of the county, 40 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 94.2 square kilometers and has a population of 3000. It has jurisdiction over seven village committees, namely tekouwalo, tekoujiagu, Yibu luowu, wuguogeze, zuopumo, tekoulaha, and loabu.

The main agricultural products in tekou Jiagu township are corn, potato, buckwheat and oats. The mineral deposits are mainly quartz and oil shale. There are County sheep improvement stations.

Zhaojue County is a mountainous county inhabited by Yi people, and it is also a key county of national poverty alleviation and development.
