Donglang town
Donglang town is a town under the jurisdiction of Congjiang County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province. It is located in the northwest of Congjiang County and the hinterland of moon mountain. It is close to Jiuwan mountain in the west, 79km away from the county seat and 20km away from 321 national highway. It borders Xiajiang town in the East, zabian town and Jiajiu town in the south, Guzhou Town, Bakai town and Jihua Township in Rongjiang County in the west, and Tingdong town in the north.
Evolution of organizational system
On January 14, 2016, Guizhou Provincial People's Government (QFH [2016] No. 23) approved the abolition of donglang township system and the establishment of donglang town.

In 2011, the township governs 21 administrative villages, 56 natural villages and 112 villager groups; in 2015, after the merger of villages, it governs 10 administrative villages, namely: donglang village, Baili village, Baia village, Jiude village, Baide village, miaogu village, Guanxiong village, Baida village, Kongming village and Longzao Village
geographical environment
The cultivated land area of the town is 12639 mu, including 9972 mu. The average altitude is 669 meters, and the highest altitude is 1427.4 meters of the main peak of Kongming mountain. It has a subtropical climate with an average annual temperature of about 16 ℃ and an average annual rainfall of 1600-210mm. donglang town belongs to karst terrain, with rolling mountains, numerous hills and streams. The township is rich in land and resources. It is a typical agricultural township where Miao people live in mountainous areas. The main agricultural products are Chaotian spicy (spicy), September bamboo shoots, winter bamboo shoots, fragrant pigs, black goats, cattle, etc. The forest coverage rate of the township is 49%, mainly young and middle-aged Chinese fir forest and Phyllostachys pubescens. In such a unique natural environment and superior climatic conditions, with large temperature difference between day and night, chaotianla with small size, fresh color, delicious taste, spicy taste and long aftertaste can grow. It is known as "spicy king". It is a unique green flavor food in donglang Township, and it has become an important economic product for local farmers One source and seasoning to cook.

There are 7 complete primary schools, 6 junior primary schools and 15 Teaching spots in the whole town. In September 2003, the middle school was just established.

Donglang town not only has many local agricultural products, but also has beautiful natural scenery and rich ethnic customs. There are unique Miao terraces (belt fields) and mysterious and beautiful Kongming mountain (it is said that during the "Three Kingdoms" period, in order to unify the southern border and capture the Miao King Meng Huo, Zhuge Liang stationed troops in this mountain, hence the name of Kongming mountain). In the mountain, there are towering ancient trees, lush trees, gurgling streams, and the sound of birds. There are many historical sites and scenic spots, such as jiangjunyan, military training ground, Kongming Menghuo bullfight pond, fountain, etc. in addition, there are strong folk customs, such as traditional folk bullfight and step on song hall (Lu Peng dance), which are very valuable for tourism development.
