Jiuzhou town

The administrative village is subordinate to Jiuzhou town of Yunlong County. It is located in the center of Jiuzhou Town, 0.2km away from the seat of Jiuzhou town government. The road to the town is dirt road, and the traffic is inconvenient, 73km away from the county. It is adjacent to Shanxi in the East, TANGJian in the south, Caojian town in the West and xiawu in the north. It has 25 villager groups, including Shangshi, Xiashi, Wutai Mountain, shangdianwei, xiadianwei, Shanglao street, Xialao street, Xinjie, Jiangbian, chuanbian, Tangjiaping, soloden, Beiqing bridge, Malutang, Trojan stone, Tongziba, Chashan, Quzi, Linggang, Sanjia village, Xiqing group 1, Xiqing group 2, Zhongyang mountain, Zhongyin mountain and Xilu mountain. At present, there are 1827 households with 5394 rural population, including 4519 agricultural population and 3023 labor force, among which 2785 are engaged in the primary industry. brief introduction

Jiuzhou town is located in the southwest of Yunlong County, Yunnan Province, in the longitudinal valley of Lancang River. It is adjacent to Baofeng Township in the East, Wayao Township in Baoshan City in the south, Caojian town in the West and biaorcun Township in the north. The town covers an area of 529.43 square kilometers, with the highest altitude of 3656 meters (daorenshan) and the lowest altitude of 1200 meters (xianguba). Jiuzhou new street, the seat of the town government, is 1440 meters above sea level, 74 kilometers away from Shimen, and 195 kilometers away from Xiaguan, the capital of the town. The town has 13 village committees, 228 villager groups, and 230 natural villages. There are 16 ethnic groups including Han, Bai, Susu, Hui and Miao. At the end of 2006, there were 9501 households with a total population of 34574.

Natural and economic resources

The Lancang River runs through the town from north to south for 72 kilometers. The average temperature in January is 11.4 ℃, and that in April is 18 ℃. The frost period is about 30-40 days, and there is no frost. The annual sunshine is about 235 days, and the annual rainfall is between 847.9-1000 mm. There are two Lancang River cascade development power stations, Gongguoqiao and Miaowei, and the preparatory work of Gongguoqiao power station with an installed capacity of 900000 kW has been completed. Miaowei power station has entered the feasibility demonstration stage.

There are 36060.5 hectares of woodland and 2423 hectares of cultivated land, including 1020 hectares of paddy field and 1403 hectares of dry land. The total sown area of grain in the whole year is 5046 hectares, with 0.015 hectares of cultivated land per capita.

At the end of 2006, the total income of rural economy was 80.266 million yuan, the per capita net income of farmers was 1491 yuan, and the fiscal revenue at the same level was 2.01 million yuan.

The main mineral resources in the territory are gold, copper, iron, slate, etc. Sichuan Panxing polymetallic concentrator, Nanshan Iron Mine of HSBC company, Xiqing iron mine of Jiuzhou, and 12 slate mining and processing enterprises have been built.

The main characteristic crops are: 10000 mu of high quality rice, 10000 mu of rape, 8000 mu of Dongzao pea, Dongzao Baogu, 10000 mu of Zanthoxylum bungeanum, 5000 mu of maidiwan pear, 5333.33 hectares and 233.33 hectares of tobacco.

The main collections include the sites of Liangjiang cave, Lancangjiang cave, yamen cave, etc.
