Tucheng town is a town established in Gulin County, Luzhou City, Sichuan Province through "removing villages to establish towns". It is located in the east of Gulin County, on the North Bank of Chishui River at the junction of Sichuan and Guizhou. It is connected with HEMA town and meijiuhe town of Renhuai City, Guizhou Province in the East, and adjacent to Dangui Town, Dacun town and Erlang town in the county. With an area of 69 square kilometers and an altitude of 400-1200 meters, the town has jurisdiction over 7 administrative villages, 1 community and 71 Village (resident) groups, with a total population of 6664 households and more than 30000 people. The territory is rich in mineral resources, and the reserves of high-quality anthracite and coalbed methane are relatively large. The main grain crops such as corn, sorghum and potatoes are rich in high-quality fruit, walnut, crisp red plum and other fruits. Our town is located in the core area of China Maotai flavor liquor Valley, and is suitable for brewing high quality Baijiu flavor liquor.

According to the reply of Sichuan Provincial People's Government on Approving the adjustment of some township administrative divisions in Gulin county (cfzm [2015] No. 12) and the reply of Luzhou Municipal People's Government on Approving the adjustment of some township administrative divisions in Gulin county (lsfh [2015] No. 113), Tucheng township was abolished and Tucheng town was established, with the original urban-rural administrative region as Tucheng administrative region and Tucheng town as Tucheng administrative region The town people's government is located in Tucheng street community.

On June 8, 2020, Sichuan Provincial People's government decided to cancel Tucheng town.
