Xianren town

Xianren township of Yuxian County is located in the north of Yangquan City and the east of Yuxian County. It is mainly located in the earth rock mountainous area. It is adjacent to Jingxing county and Pingshan County of Hebei Province in the East. It guards the east gate of Shanxi Province and is one of the main exports of Shanxi coal.

Yuhua cave is a limestone cave. Located in the northeast of Xianren Township, Yuxian County, 1km north of xiaoshipen village, Southeast Slope of Tianqiao road. The forehead of the cave is engraved with the three characters "Yuhua cave" written by Wang Chang, the former governor of Yu County in 1919. the total length is 500 meters and there are three big holes in it. The dome of the first hole is like a yurt. Visitors can have a rest here, so it is called the rest hall. In the middle is the Wugu palace, with countless stalactites falling from the cave wall in thousands of shapes. some are like ears of grain swaying with the wind, some are like thick and plump corn, some are like golden waves of wheat, some are like round and strong winter melon, some are like oval "snow pear", some are like "banana" and some are like round "apple". The beautiful scenery of abundant grains and fruits is like a dazzling agricultural exhibition hall. the third cave is called Tiandi palace; there is a deep stream about Zhang long at the entrance, on which there is a stone called overpass; on the top of the cave, there are many stalactites like torches, just like palace lanterns; on the left side, there is a stone well, two Zhang deep, called Tianchi; on the right side, there is a stone pillar, which can make a pleasant sound by gently hitting, called Tiandi pillar. The scale and value of Yuhua cave are rare in North China.

Gao Shanhe (1927-1973), a native of qiliyu village, Xianren Township, Yu County. He is a famous hero in the war to resist US aggression and aid Korea.
