Laixi Township, subordinate to Nanfeng County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the northeast of Nanfeng County, adjacent to Taiyuan Township in the East, Sangtian town in the south, Nanfeng County in the west, qiawan town in the north, and 5km away from Nanfeng County. Township area of 83.33 square kilometers, jurisdiction of 10 administrative villages, 88 village groups. In late 2018, the population of Lai Xi Township had 19 thousand and 100 registered residence population.

History of construction
During the period of the Republic of China, it was under the jurisdiction of Laixi Township and qiawan township.
In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to three districts (qiawan District); in 1961, Laixi commune was established; in 1966, Laixi commune was abolished; in 1977, Laixi commune was restored; in 1983, Laixi commune was changed into Laixi township.

From jilongfeng at the junction with Lichuan to yangjiagang in qiawan Town, it flows through xiazhuang'ao in Dongfang village, Dongfang village and hujiabian in huangman village, and meets the tributaries of Shiqu Village, with a length of 31.6 km and a flow area of 278 km2.
