Qiutou town

Qiutou Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Zhengning County, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, is located in the south of Zhengning county and the edge of Ziwuling forest. It is adjacent to wuqingyuan Hui Township in the East, Sanjia Township in the south, Yonghe town in the west, Yongzheng town and Shanhe town in the North, with a total administrative area of 86.27 square kilometers.

In the Song Dynasty, it was Xiansheng town; in October 1949, it belonged to qiutou District of Zhengning County; in September 1983, qiutou commune was changed to township. In December 2014, qiutou township was removed from the township and built into a town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the town of 19686 was over. In June 2020, qiutou town governs seven administrative villages.

History of construction

In Song Dynasty, it was Xiansheng town.

In the Jin Dynasty, the town was to be closed.

In the Qing Dynasty, lingqiuli was set up, and then yaoce town and qiutou town were changed.

In 1927, it belonged to Yonghe district.

In September 1934, qiutou township was established.

In August 1935, it was the first district of Xinzheng County.

In October 1949, it belonged to qiutou District of Zhengning county.

In March 1958, qiutou township was set up; in September of the same year, it merged with jiejiachuan Township and wuqingyuan township to form qiutou commune.

In May 1961, jiejiachuan commune and wuqingyuan commune were established.

In September 1983, qiutou commune was transformed into a township.

In December 2014, qiutou township was removed from the township and built into a town.
