Nanqiao town

Nanqiao Town, subordinate to Xingtang County, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the north of Xingtang County, adjacent to Duyanggang Township in the southeast, Longzhou town in the south, Yuting Township in the west, and Beihe Township in the northwest, with an administrative area of 61.26 square kilometers.

In 1949, Nanqiao town belonged to Nanqiao District Office of Xingtang County; in 1984, it was changed to Nanqiao town; in 1996, beilonggang township was merged into Nanqiao town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of South Bridge town was 34586. As of June 2020, Nanqiao town has jurisdiction over 17 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Nanqiao town is located in Nanqiao village.

In 2011, the financial revenue of Nanqiao town was 7.86 million yuan, including 2.453 million yuan of state tax and 5.043 million yuan of local tax. In 2018, there were 14 industrial enterprises in Nanqiao Town, including one above scale and 50 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

According to the inscriptions in the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty (1522-1566), "Quhe village is named Nanqu river because it is located on the South Bank of Quhe river."

In 1937, it was renamed Nanqiao according to the Quhe bridge.

In 1949, Nanqiao town belonged to Nanqiao District Office of Xingtang County.

In 1952, he set up a mutual aid group.

In 1954, primary agricultural production cooperatives were established.

In 1956, a senior agricultural production cooperative was established.

In 1958, it was incorporated into Xinle County, which belongs to Chengguan commune and is Nanqiao management area.

The people's Government of Nanqiao town is stationed in Nanqiao village.

Gujun site is located in the north of Gujun village, Nanqiao Town, Xingtang County. The central area of the site is more than 600000 square meters. Bronze ritual vessels, weapons, chariots and horses, production tools, gold, jade, bone horns, pottery and other artifacts were unearthed.
