Chengguan Town, belonging to Helingeer County, Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the middle of Helingeer County. It is adjacent to Xindianzi town in the East, Dahong town in the south, shebiya town in the West and Shengle town in the north, with a total administrative area of 579.26 square kilometers.
In 1949, it belonged to the first district of Helingeer County. In July 2007, fanjiayao regional service center was merged into Chengguan town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Chengguan town was 44675. In 2019, Chengguan Town governs 10 communities and 23 administrative villages.
In 2018, there were 25 industrial enterprises in Chengguan Town, including 4 Enterprises above Designated Size and 49 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1949, it belonged to the first district of Helingeer County.
In 1956, it was divided into six districts.
In 1957, it belonged to Shizuizi township.
In 1958, Chengguan commune was established.
In 1962, it was transferred to Shengli camp commune.
In 1974, Chengguan commune was restored.
In 1984, Chengguan town was changed.
In March 2001, Shengliying township was merged into Chengguan town.
In July 2007, fanjiayao regional service center was merged into Chengguan town.
