Beiping town

Beiping town is located in the north of Guxian County, Linfen City, Shanxi Province, China, at the south foot of Taiyue Mountain, adjacent to Huozhou in the west, Qinyuan in the north and Anze in the East.

natural resources

Beiping town is rich in natural resources, with high mountains and long slopes, lush trees and good vegetation. The forest coverage rate is 20%, and the timber volume is about 130000 cubic meters. Beiping town is rich in walnuts, with an annual output of about 450 tons. The wild edible fungus, mushroom, Hericium erinaceus, ground silkworm and kiwifruit are also quite valuable.

mineral resources

Underground mineral resources are rich, mainly coal, iron, aluminum, copper, quartz and so on. The raw coal is shallow buried and easy to be mined, with a reserve of 280 million tons, including 160 million tons of high-quality coal, which is a major resource advantage of Beiping.

Transportation and Tourism

Gubei line and andI line run through the whole town, and the traffic is very convenient. The world-famous Lingkong mountain scenic spot is 7.5 kilometers away from Beiping village. Liziping Village (formerly known as linziping) has the tomb of Lin Xiangru, the famous Prime Minister of the Warring States period. Luya temple in the west of the town has a unique architecture with magical color.
