Maigaiti County Wuyi forest farm was established on May 1, 1959. It was originally a state-owned forest farm owned by the whole people. It was fully funded by forestry institutions. In March 2004, it was restructured into a self financing enterprise. On December 25, 2014, the Party committee of Maigaiti County Wuyi forest farm was established, which consists of three party branches: Wuyi forest farm Party branch, horticultural farm Party branch and Wuyi Forest Farm Primary School Party branch. It is located 4.5km to the north-east of Maigaiti County, with convenient transportation. It is at the lowest reaches of tiznafu River, with an altitude of 1150-1190m. It is flat and sandy soil. It is adjacent to the aqueduct of the third agricultural division and the farm of Maigaiti County People's Government in the north, youlugun and bosgang villages of bazajiemi Township in the south, the water pipe of the third agricultural division in the East, and taikelke village of bazajiemi Township in the West It has jurisdiction over two games, five production teams and one school. The total population is 1959 with 457 households. The minority population accounts for 55.5%, including 1087 people and 207 households. The Han population accounts for 44.5%, including 872 people and 210 households. There are 25 in-service workers, 152 retired workers and 729 labor force. There are 41 party members (including 14 retired party members), 22 party members of Wuyi Forest Farm (12 retired party members), 12 Party members of horticultural farm (2 retired party members), and 7 Party members of Wuyi Forest Farm Primary School. There are 194 households in non agricultural registered residence, 71 households.
