Guangrao Street

In December 1948, the Democratic township was established, with one district under the jurisdiction of the county, and the district was established in the county, with the jurisdiction of Chengcheng Township and Xiguan township; in July 1984, it was renamed Guangrao town; in October 2009, it was renamed Guangrao street. By the end of 2011, the total population of Guangrao street was 94248. As of June 2020, Guangrao street has jurisdiction over 18 communities and 90 administrative villages.

History of construction

In December 1948, the Democratic township was established. The county governs a district, and the district governs Chengcheng Township and Xiguan township.

In October 1951, the two townships were merged into Chengguan town.

In April 1954, it was changed to Chengguan town under the jurisdiction of the county.

In September 1958, it was changed into Dongfeng first commune; in October of the same year, it was changed into Chengguan commune.

In February 1962, it was changed into a suburban area with seven small communes including Chengguan commune.

In November 1970, the district and the commune under its jurisdiction were withdrawn and the County Chengguan commune was restored.

In December 1981, it was restored to Chengguan town.

In July 1984, it was renamed Guangrao town.
