Tuanze town is subordinate to Huichuan District of Zunyi City, Guizhou Province. It is located in the northeast of Zunyi City, only 27 km away from the central urban area. It has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages and 1 neighborhood committee, with a total population of 48700 (2017), a total area of 174.93 square kilometers (2017), a fertile land and convenient transportation.

On July 24, 2019, tuanze town was selected into the list of national strong agricultural towns in 2019.
