In the Republic of China, it was the seventh district of Teng County. Zhangwang town was established in 1984. In history, Xi Zhong, Zhong Hui, Xue Zhu, Mao Sui and other celebrities were born. Historical evolution

In ancient times, shaoziyu, the Yellow Emperor, was granted the title of Xue (now Zhangwang Town, the ancient city of Xue). In the Xia Dynasty, Yu granted Xi Zhong, a descendant of Yu, to Xue. In the Shang Dynasty, Tang granted Xi Zhong the twelfth sun Zhonghui to Xue. In 1369, Tengzhou was abolished, and Tengxian belonged to Jining Prefecture, Shandong Province. In 1385, Yanzhou was promoted to Yanzhou Prefecture, and Tengxian county was changed to Yanzhou Prefecture. During the orthodox period of Ming Dynasty, Zhang Wang was a member of Xuecheng society in the ritual township of Tengxian county. Zhangwang town is located in the southwest of Shandong Province, at the southernmost end of Tengzhou City.
