ManJiang Township, subordinate to Xiushui County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the south of Xiushui County, connecting Shankou town in the southeast, Fuyuan Township in the northwest, zhichengfang Township in the northwest and Lianzheng village in the northeast. History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, the territory belonged to the thirty, thirty-one and thirty-two capitals of Wuxiang.
During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to ManJiang Township in the valley area.
In 1949, it was divided into four townships, namely, Xinan, Dushi, ManJiang and Laimei (part of them), which were subordinate to Valley District (five districts); in September 1956, it was merged into MANJIANG township; in September 1958, it was merged with Shankou township to form shanman commune; in 1959, it was separated into ManJiang commune; in March 1960, it was merged into Shankou commune; in September 1961, it was separated; in September 1968, it was merged again; in January 1972, it was still ManJiang commune In June 1984, ManJiang commune was abolished and renamed MANJIANG township.
