Lanzhouwan Town, belonging to Manas County, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the middle of the county. It is adjacent to Dixiang, Guangdong Province in the East, Manas town in the south, Shihezi city and Shawan County in Tacheng area in the west, Xinhu farm of agricultural Sixth Division and 147 regiment farm of agricultural eighth division of BINGTUAN in the north. The area is 155.74 square kilometers. In 2018, 12196 people registered residence.
In 1950, it was the Second District of Taiping Township. In 1952, it was Taiping Township, the third district. In 1953, Taiping Township returned to the second district. In 1957, it was a township directly under Taiping. In August 1958, it became the red flag commune. In 1978, it was renamed Lanzhou Bay commune. In April 1984, lanzhouwan township was established. In June 2001, the township was removed and Lanzhou bay town was built. In October 2019, lanzhouwan town has 11 administrative villages.
In 2018, there were 16 industrial enterprises in lanzhouwan town and 3 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

In October 2019, lanzhouwan town has 11 administrative villages, including Wangjiazhuang village, erdaoshuwozi village, bajiahu village, Jiahezi village, toufuliang village, sifuzhuang village, jinshuiwan village, xiaqiaozi village, dawanzi village and lanzhouwan new village.
