Pingtang Township

Pingtang township is located in the northwest of Tianlin County, adjacent to Miao Township in the East, longor Township in Longlin County in the west, and Jieting Township in Longlin County in the north. The township has 10 village committees, 107 villager groups and 142 natural villages, with a total area of 194 square kilometers. With a total population of 12305, Zhuang, Han and Miao Nationalities live there.

Flue cured tobacco is a major characteristic industry in Pingtang township. Pingtang township has become a tobacco production base in the county.
