Jinyintan town is located in the southeast of Litong District, 11 kilometers away from the urban area of Litong District in the north. It is adjacent to Daquan Township and langpiliang township of Lingwu City in the East, malinqu Township in the west, biandangou town in the South and Shangqiao township of Litong District in the north. Wuhui highway and 211 national highway pass through the territory, and the town government is located in the west of Changqing Petroleum Geophysical Prospecting office.

Historical evolution

Jiukm town of Wuzhong City was established in 1984 and renamed Jinyintan town of Wuzhong City in 1987. In 1989, the system of town governing village was implemented, taking over seven immigrant development zones in the original ancient city, Dongta, Shangqiao and Zaoyuan townships. In September 1998, it was Jinyintan town in Litong District. After the township was merged in February 2003, the original Yangmahu Township, Jinyintan farm, liangfanchang, tuanzhuang village in Hanqu Township, Xitan village in huangshawo Township in Litong District were merged into Jinyintan town and a new Jinyintan town was established.

Jinyintan town has 11 administrative villages and two temporary offices, namely tuanzhuang village, Yangmahu village, Xinqu village, donggouwan village, goutai village, sizhiqu village, Yinxin village, Xitan village, lingbai village, Jinchuan temporary office and Liangfan temporary office. There are 106 villager groups, 18 residential areas, 7336 households, with a total population of 44384. The Hui population accounts for 91.5%, and the urban population is 15892, accounting for 36%.

With a total area of 87 square kilometers, 54890 mu of arable land and an altitude of 1150-1180 meters, Yinnan plain is an integral part of the north temperate continental climate, with flat terrain, dry climate, sufficient sunshine, large temperature difference between day and night, less and concentrated rainfall, fertile soil, and Yellow River Irrigation.

The town is rich in rice, wheat, corn and other food crops, as well as apple, pear, vegetables and other economic crops. It is one of the commodity grain bases in Litong District.

The total social output value of the town is about 600 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers is more than 3000 yuan. The dairy industry is the leading industry of the town. There are more than 12000 cows in the town, accounting for 1 / 3 of the total number of cows in Litong District and 1 / 7 of the total number of cows in the autonomous region. Large scale breeding has a strong momentum of development in the town, with 15 standardized breeding parks or communities, 8 farms and 160 tons of fresh milk per day. Ninglan kenmu breeding company and Animal Husbandry Engineering Research Institute, the largest dairy farm in the region, are located in this town.

The built-up area of small towns is 1.9 square kilometers, and the overall planning of 5.2 square kilometers of small towns has been completed. It is planned to build a business development zone with nine kilometers of farmers' market as the center, a cultural service zone with geophysical community as the center, and a halal green industrial park with 4000 mu of government farms as the main land. At present, there are 22000 square meters of commodity buildings, and a number of key projects have been completed, such as the geophysical prospecting business building and the comprehensive building of the farmers' market. There are 1626 individual businesses engaged in the secondary and tertiary industries in the town.

The business and trade industry has a strong development momentum in our town. Jiukm farmer's market is one of the three major markets in Wuzhong City, with an annual turnover of 180 million yuan. Laoheqiao Muslim beef and mutton market and live animal market are adjacent to our town. The fruit wholesale market of horticultural farm has been basically completed, and the road connecting Xitan village with jiukm farmer's market is under construction.

Green industry has begun to take shape in our town. At present, there are four dairy enterprises including Hongguo, Xixia, Ningfeng and the third dairy enterprise, more than 20 agricultural export processing enterprises including MaoYuan juice, Yuankun meat Union, Wenguang vegetable and fruit preservation, and 18 small and medium-sized flour mills and milled rice processing plants, which radiate and drive the construction of dairy products processing Zone, grain processing zone, fruit processing zone and halal beef and mutton processing zone.
