Jishi Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Xunhua Salar Autonomous County, Haidong City, Qinghai Province, is located in the seat of Xunhua Salar Autonomous County, connecting Qingshui Township in the East, Jiezi Township in the South and West, and Hualong Township in the north. The administrative area is 106.21 square kilometers.

History of construction
During the yuan and Ming Dynasties, it was under the jurisdiction of Salar chieftains.
During the Qing Dynasty, except for the county, the rest of the area was the territory of jiezigong and Zha processing.
In 1931, Jishi town was established.
In June 1950, Jishi town was changed into Xunhua city.
In April 1951, it was under the jurisdiction of one district.
In 1953, it changed its name to Chengguan town.
In August 1956, it was renamed Jishi town.
In September 1958, it was incorporated into the Yellow River commune.
On June 25, 1960, jishicheng commune was established from the Yellow River commune.
In July 1961, it was renamed urban commune.
In 1984, it was changed into Jishi town.
