Wangji town

Wangji Town, belonging to Dongxiang Autonomous County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the east of Dongxiang Autonomous County, adjacent to Fengshan Township in the East, Nalesi Town, Zhao hometown and Wu hometown in the south, Yanling Township in the West and Dashu Township in the north. The area is 104.91 square kilometers. In 2018, 12621 people registered residence.

In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the thirteen associations of Dongxiang. In 1950, Wangji district was established. In 1953, it was changed to Wangji township. In 1958, the commune was established. In 1983, the township was restored. In 2005, Chaba village, Zhongzhuang village and miaoerling village of Gaoshan Township were incorporated into the jurisdiction, belonging to the Township under the jurisdiction of the county. In June 2020, Wangji town governs 10 administrative villages.
