Liujiabao street, belonging to Anning District, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, is adjacent to Yintan road street in the East, the Yellow River in the south, anningbao street in the West and Gaolan County in the north. The total area of the district is 58 square kilometers. In 2011, the total population of the district was 8427.
In 1953, it belonged to the third township of the 20th District of Lanzhou City, with 6 villages under its jurisdiction. In 1955, it was named liujiabao Township, Anning District. In November 1984, liujiabao cuijiazhuang was merged into liujiabao township. In November 2004, it was changed to liujiabao street. In June 2020, liujiabao Street governs 8 communities.
At the end of 2011, there were 135 commercial outlets in liujiabao street, which has become a specialized trading market and commodity distribution center for medical seeds, with the total sales of social commodities reaching 40 million yuan, an increase of 18% over the previous year.
Historical evolution
The first year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1862), belongs to taihebao in Gaolan county.
In 1941, it belonged to taihebao, Zhongshan Township, Gaolan county.
After 1949, it belongs to Guozheng Township, the first district of Gaolan county.
In 1953, it belongs to the third township of the 20th District of Lanzhou city.
In 1955, it was named liujiabao Township, Anning District.
In 1958, it was the fourth brigade of Anning commune.
In 1962, it was changed into two brigades, liujiabao and cuijiazhuang.
In 1983, it was changed into two villages.
In November 1984, liujiabao cuijiazhuang was merged into liujiabao township.
In November 2004, it was changed to liujiabao street.

In January 2007, liujiabao street had jurisdiction over six neighborhood committees, namely cuijiazhuang, Majiazhuang, zoujiazhuang, liujiabao, Wujiazhuang and Zhaojiazhuang.
At the end of 2011, liujiabao street had jurisdiction over eight residents' committees, namely Fuxing Road, liujiabao, cuijiazhuang, Majiazhuang, zoujiazhuang, liujiabao, Wujiazhuang and Zhaojiazhuang.

Among the total population, 3902 were male, accounting for 46.3%; 4525 were female, accounting for 53.7%; 1666 were under 18 years old, accounting for 19.8%; 2245 were between 18 and 35 years old, accounting for 26.6%; 3373 were between 35 and 60 years old, accounting for 40%; 1143 were over 60 years old, accounting for 13.6%.
