Dongdai town

Dongdai town is located in the South Bank of Aojiang estuary, Lianjiang county, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province.

In 2017, the administrative area was 2436 hectares, with a permanent population of 24058.

In the 24th year of the Republic of China, Zha Baojia was designated as Dongdai Lianbao. In the 29th year of the Republic of China, it was changed to Dongdai town. In June of the Republic of China, it merged with Xiaoao and Daoao to form Dongao town. New China was founded in the second district (renamed Pukou District in September 1955). In April 1956, he went to Aojiang district. In 1958, it belonged to Pukou people's commune. In October 1984, nine villages were set up in Pukou. After March 1988, it was changed into town system. In 1995, Dongdai town set up 9 Village (residents) committees, 190 Village (residents) groups and 21 natural villages.

Historical evolution

After the Song Dynasty, it belonged to Yonggui Li, Yongfu township. During the Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty, it was repeatedly invaded and plundered by Japanese pirates. In 1632, Chongzhen city was built. At the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, Dongdai was transferred to Beijiao. Zheng Chenggong's Navy captured Dongdai Fort twice. The governor of the Qing Dynasty bombarded the city with fire. The people were killed and killed, and the corpses were everywhere. Wang Zhiguan, a member of the city, collected the dead, which was famous in history. Yongzheng eight years (1730), set up in the Dongdai general flood, built Defense Department, become an important gateway to the county. At the end of Qing Dynasty, there was a customs branch card.
