Poverty alleviation
Nierong town is one of the poorest pure animal husbandry towns in the whole region, and one of the towns with the lowest production and living standards in nierong county. The second village of nierong town is one of the poorest villages in the town. In order to make the limited funds play the largest role and play a role from point to area, we select the second village as the key assistance object. The village is located about 5 kilometers west of the town. There are 30 households with 160 people. There are only 375 cattle, 754 sheep and 20 horses. The lack of livestock and relatively backward concept are the main reasons for the poverty of the two villages. In 2001, the per capita income was only 1000 yuan. (in order to do a good job in poverty alleviation, the CPPCC Regional Committee, in combination with the deployment of "1000 cadres going to the grassroots level", selected and assigned competent cadres to work in nierong town to be directly responsible for this work. The CPPCC organs maintain regular contact with the lower level cadres and communicate the situation in a timely manner. The leaders of the CPPCC Party group and the Secretary General's team have successively conducted in-depth research in the two villages. On this basis, they have held coordination meetings for many times to discuss the overall plan of assistance. Put forward the idea of poverty alleviation, cultural poverty alleviation, publicity poverty alleviation, education poverty alleviation and production poverty alleviation. This idea has changed the single way of poverty alleviation with goods and funds in the past, and won the support of the local government and the masses of farmers and herdsmen, and achieved remarkable results.
