Layu Township

Layu township (also known as layuxiang township) is located in qiongjie County, Shannan City, Tibet. It is one of the three townships in one town of qiongjie county. From 1959 to 1987, it belonged to Qugou district. In 1987, the district was withdrawn to build Layu township.

Layu township is located in the northwest of qiongjie County, Shannan City, Tibet Autonomous Region, 17 kilometers away from the county seat, 16 kilometers away from Zedang Town, Naidong District, where Shannan municipal government is located, and 5 kilometers away from zeqiong highway. It was built in 1987 by Qugou district. With convenient road transportation and unique natural scenery, it is known as the "paradise of Tibet".
