Weise temple is located 200m to the north of gatuo Town, Mangkang county. It is one of the 18 Hutuktu in Tibetan area and one of the three Hutuktu in Changdu city. The reincarnation of living Buddha has lasted for 15 generations. Weise temple is the main place for people to carry out religious activities near Mangkang county. It holds religious activities such as God skipping and butter Lantern Festival every year. It has high artistic appreciation value and religious and cultural value. It is one of the largest yellow religion temples in the county. It is the mother temple in history. It governs 20 sub temples in our county and Zuogong county respectively. Weise temple covers a total area of 11817 square meters, including 1579.3 square meters of business area, 2825.8 square meters of monk accommodation and canteen area. There are 64 monks in the temple, accounting for 3.2% of the total population of the village. Before the people's reform, there were 195 monks in the temple, and there were 15 reincarnations of living Buddhas in history.
