Suba town

Suba town is under the jurisdiction of Mabian Yi Autonomous County, Leshan City, Sichuan Province. It is located 18 kilometers south of the county, covering an area of 107.98 square kilometers, with a population of 13352 (2017).

On May 18, 2020, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Leshan City to adjust the administrative divisions of some villages and towns in Ebian Yi Autonomous County and Mabian Yi Autonomous County (Chuanfu Civil Affairs [2020] No. 3): yuanjiaxi township was canceled and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Suba town. The people's Government of Suba town was stationed at No. 300 Shengli Street, Shengli community.

Suba town is located 18 kilometers south of Mabian Yi Autonomous County, with an altitude of 636 meters and an area of 107.98 square kilometers. It is located at the junction of Dayuanzi Sanhekou and Suba.

Historical evolution

Tuanjie Township was established in 1951, ZOUMAPING Township in 1952, Heping commune in 1958, ZOUMAPING commune in 1959, Suba Township in 1984 and Suba town in 2014.
