Kuixiang Miao Yi Township
Kuixiang Miao Yi township is located in the south of Yiliang County, Yunnan Province, 88 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Shulin township of Yiliang County in the East, Hezhen Township and dezhuo township of Hezhang County in Guizhou Province in the south, Maoping Township and Longjie township of Yiliang County in the west, and Fafa Township and Haizi township of Yiliang County in the north. The township covers an area of 228.25 square kilometers, with the highest altitude of 2478 meters, the lowest altitude of 1500 meters, and the average altitude of 2039 meters.
History and culture
Kuixiang has a long history. The seat of the township government was the county seat in the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. During the Long March period, Helong, Xiaoke and Ren Bishi led the second and sixth Red Army Corps to enter and leave kuixiang three times, and launched the famous Wumeng roundabout war. It was an old revolutionary base area, and built a Red Army long march Monument with Xiaoke's inscription.

The main crops are corn, potato and flue-cured tobacco. The average annual output of corn is more than 20000 mu, with an output of 12.87 million kg, potato is more than 18000 mu, with an output of 27 million kg, and flue-cured tobacco is 6000 mu, with an output of more than 1.5 million Jin and an output value of 5 million yuan. Animal husbandry is another industry of kuixiang. Pigs, cattle, sheep, chickens and other large and small livestock have a large stock and a high sales rate, with an annual income of more than 7 million yuan. With the transfer of rural surplus labor force, labor export income has gradually become the support point of increasing farmers' income, with an annual income of 6 million yuan.
