History of construction

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belongs to Wulong township.

In September 1949, it belonged to Wulong district.

After the district was withdrawn in December 1955, Xinchengzi township was set up.

In September 1958, Chengzi commune was reformed.

In June 1983, the government and society were separated and Xinchengzi township was restored.
