Yedonghe town covers an area of 157 square kilometers and has a population of 17600. It is a town in the south of Huangping county.

Introduction to Hezhen

In the south of Huangping County, the Miao nationality accounted for 44.3%. It has jurisdiction over 17 village committees. It is named after Chongsheng and Renli. In the fourth year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1406 AD), Langcheng was set up as the chief executive of Langcheng. In the middle of Qing Dynasty, he moved to Fengxiang village, Chongxing township. In 1932, Renli, Chongsheng, pingye and other townships were established. Chongren township was established in 1942. Chongren and Yedong townships were established in 1953. In 1958, Chongren commune was established. Two communes were established in 1961. In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township. Chongren township was merged in 1992. There is barite.
