Shichang Miao and Yi Township, belonging to Jinsha County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province, is located in the west of Jinsha County, bordering jiucang Town, Renhuai City, Zunyi City in the East, Guihua Township in the south, Taiping Yi and Miao Township in the west, Qingchi town in the north, with an administrative area of 120.9 square kilometers.
In 1951, Shichang district was established, belonging to Jinsha County. At the end of 1991, Shichang district was withdrawn and township was built. Shichang Town, yuanshichang District, Qingmu, Goupi and Yanshang townships were merged into Shichang Miao and Yi townships. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Miao and Yi people in Shichang was 29711. As of June 2020, Shichang Miao and Yi township has jurisdiction over three communities and eight administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in Chaoyang Street, Jiyang community.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Shichang Miao and Yi township was 809000 yuan, an increase of 0.2% over the previous year. In 2018, there are 52 comprehensive stores or supermarkets in Shichang Miao and Yi Township with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

In 1951, Shichang district was established, belonging to Jinsha County.
At the end of 1991, Shichang Town, yuanshichang District, and Qingmu, Goupi and Yanshang townships were merged into Shichang Miao and Yi townships.

In the Ming Dynasty, there was a tourist shop with the surname Shi of Gelao nationality. The homonym is "Shi Ge Nao", which is abbreviated as "Shi Chang".
famous scenery
Aojia tombs are located on the hillside of niuxiangpo, luzilou village, about 50 kilometers northwest of Jinsha County. They are cultural relic protection units in Guizhou Province. They are praised as "great combination of traditional buildings" and "art treasures in the deep mountains" by experts and scholars in Guizhou Province and abroad. The tombs are composed of two groups, South and North, with a distance of more than 20 meters. They were built in 1898 and 1905 respectively. They both face east and West, and are arranged along the central axis. They are built in the form of four steps according to the mountain situation, forming two similar closed structures.
