Rongguang town

Rongguang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Tongzi County, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, is located in the west of Tongzi County, adjacent to Huaqiu town in the East, Fengshui Township in the south, Erli Township and Taolin Township in Xishui County in the West and North, with an administrative area of 66.65 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of Rong Guang town registered residence was 23897. As of October 2019, Rongguang town has one community and six administrative villages.

In 2011, the total financial revenue of Rongguang town was 3.8 million yuan, an increase of 29% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers is 4220 yuan. In 2018, Rongguang town had 10 industrial enterprises and 140 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

On July 29, 2020, Rongguang town was selected into the 2017-2019 National Health township (county) naming list.

History of construction

The Ming and Qing dynasties belong to Luxili.

During the period of the Republic of China, it was called Yunni Township, and the district was located in Gaoqiao.

After 1950, Yunni Township, located in Huaqiu Town, was one of the two townships and one town in the Sixth District of Tongzi County.

In November 1956, Yunni was divided into three townships, yuanmu, Rongguang and Panlong.

In July 1992, the three townships were merged into Rongguang township.

On April 22, 2016, Guizhou Provincial People's Government Qian Fu Han [2016] No. 123 agreed to cancel Rongguang Township and set up Rongguang town.

By the end of 2011, Rongguang town had 7 administrative villages: yuanmu, Daqing, Yunlong, Yunfeng Shuangya, Lianlong and Luozi, and 43 villager groups.

As of October 2019, Rongguang town has one community and six administrative villages: Yunfeng community, Lianlong village, Shuangya village, Luozi village, Yunlong village, Daqing Village and yuanmu village.

Rongguang town is located in the branch of daluoshan mountains, with high and low terrain, high in the East and low in the West. The terrain is crisscross with hillsides and valleys, belonging to low and middle mountain karst basin landform. The highest point is located in shihuoluliangzi of Daqing Village, with an altitude of 1638 meters; the lowest point is located in sanmutan of Lianlong village, with an altitude of 410 meters.
