Zhenxing township is under the jurisdiction of Baoshan District, Shuangyashan City. It was originally under the jurisdiction of Sifangtai District, Shuangyashan City. The former government was stationed in Zhenxing Middle Road, Sifangtai District, which was under the jurisdiction of Baoshan District in 1990. The township is located in the north of the central part of the city, adjacent to Jixian County in the northeast. The township government is 17 kilometers away from the urban area. In March 1984, the government and society were separated, and Changsheng commune was divided into two townships, Changsheng and Zhenxing. The total area of the township is 40 square kilometers, including 23000 mu of cultivated land. Crops include vegetables, potatoes, soybeans and wheat. The township has jurisdiction over 8 villages, including Xincun, Qianjin, Huaxin, upstream, Baoshan, yangmugang, dousong and Qinghe. In 1990, the total population of the township was 3848. The township government is located at Baoyi road in the urban area. In March 2001, Zhenxing Township People's government was abolished, and its administrative functions were assigned to Qixing Town People's government.
