Siganpu township is located in Xiapuxiong area, 34 km away from the county seat. It borders on Laji Township in the East, puxiong town in the south, erjue Township across the river in the West and lapu Township in the north. It is a typical Yi inhabited area in Gaoer mountain, with an average altitude of 2100 meters and an area of 47.2 square kilometers, including 3850 mu of cultivated land. As of 2007, the township governs 8 villages and 20 groups, including Jide, wazhi, liku, yimuluo, Baozhu, Boxi, yibigu and chehong, with a total number of 1017 households, 4628 people and more than 10000 livestock. There is a central school and a health center in the township.
In December 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province agreed to abolish siganpu Township and transfer its administrative area to lapu town. The lapu Town People's government is located at No. 65, lapu street, lapu village.
General situation
Covering an area of 47.07 square kilometers, the township governs 5 administrative villages, 13 villager groups, 431 households and 2149 people. It is a Yi inhabited township. The township government is located in wahei group of Sanhe Village, 52 kilometers away from the county.
Deji Township, with an altitude of 2000-3957 meters, is a typical high mountain area. Mountains and rivers crisscross the territory, and the climate is harsh. The annual average temperature is 9.5 ℃, the annual total precipitation is 1350 mm, the frost free period is 180 days, the summer is cool, the air is humid, rainy, snowy and foggy.
Deji township has 3152 mu of cultivated land. 2120 mu of farmland was converted to forest. The main crops are potato, corn, buckwheat and oats, and the animal husbandry is mainly sheep, pigs, cattle and horses. In 2002, the grain output of the whole Township reached 871.8 tons, with 8938 livestock in stock. The GDP of villages and towns is 1.6 million yuan, and the net income per capita is 738 yuan.
Laiwu Yida River, 13.5 km long in Deji Township, is rich in hydropower resources and can develop tens of thousands of kilowatts of electricity. There are rich economic forests such as wild lacquer tree, pine tree, walnut, Mihoutao and wild prickly ash, as well as rare wild Chinese medicinal materials such as Gastrodia elata, Cordyceps sinensis and Fritillaria. The unique climate can be used for planting back season vegetables such as peas and traditional Chinese medicine. There are 34000 mu of Grass Mountain, grass slope and grassland, which can be used for planting grass and raising livestock. There are a large number of coal mines available in Sanquan village and Zhuer. There are 1194 labors in the township, which are cheap and provide better human resources for various development.

The main working principles of Deji Township Party committee and government in recent years are: "prospering the township with forest", "enriching the township with animal husbandry" and "strengthening the township with electricity". The focus of the work is to do a good job in the management of 2120 mu of cropland converted to forest, 4350 mu of supporting afforestation, expand the scale of planting grass and raising livestock, and increase the commodity rate of livestock products.
