Re'er Township
Re'er township is located in the north of Ruoergai County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, 138 km away from Ruoergai County and 19 km away from Diebu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province. In the north, it borders on Lenglie Township and Chonger township of Ruoergai County, in the East, dianga township of Diebu County of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, in the northwest, it borders on Hongxing and Jiangzha township of Ruoergai County, and in the south, it borders on Axi township of Ruoergai County. The average altitude is 2580 meters, the annual average temperature is 6 ℃, the annual rainfall is 800 mm, and the frost free period is about 100 days. Covering an area of 421.46 square kilometers, the township is the second Dalin District Township in the county. The township governs 8 administrative villages and 17 natural villages with a total population of 2514 (2017).
In December 2019, the people's Government of Aba Prefecture decided to abolish re'er township.
General situation
. It is 138 kilometers away from the county seat and 19 kilometers away from Diebu County, Gansu Province. The average altitude is 2580 meters, the annual average temperature is 6 ℃, the annual rainfall is 800 mm, and the frost free period is about 100 days. It is a high mountain valley terrain, and the river Geer runs through the whole township. Covering an area of 421.46 square kilometers, the township is the third largest Forest Township in the county. At present, there are 3361 mu of cultivated land, 120000 mu of grassland and 5762 mu of returning farmland to forest. It has jurisdiction over 8 administrative villages and 18 natural villages with simple folk customs and rich tourism resources. In 2007, it was shortlisted as one of the "top ten newly discovered scenic spots in China" and won the "most potential new scenic spot Award".
economic development
The terrain is complex. The watershed of the Yellow River and the Yangtze river divides the county into two distinct geographical units and natural economic zones. The central, Western and southern parts are typical hilly plateau, accounting for 69% of the total area of the county, and the terrain inclines from south to north. With an average altitude of 3500 meters, it has rolling hills, open valleys, developed river bends, abundant water and grass, and is suitable for grazing. It mainly raises yaks, sheep and horses. It is a pure animal husbandry area in re'er township. Tangkema is one of the three famous horses in China. The main rivers are gaqu, Moqu and requ, which flow into the Yellow River from south to north. The mountains in the north and southeast part of Qinling Mountains are the remnant veins of Dieshan mountain in the west of Qinling Mountains and the northern end of Minshan Mountain. The mountains are high and the valleys are deep. The terrain is steep. The altitude ranges from 2400m to 4200m. The main rivers are Bailong River, baozuo River and Brazil river. The area is a semi agricultural and semi pastoral area of the county, accounting for 31% of the total area of the county, with 80000 mu of agricultural land, suitable for annual crops. Highland barley is the main food crop, followed by wheat, legumes and potato. The main economic crops are rape and flax, but also produce a small amount of apple and pepper. The area is rich in timber resources, with a forest area of 101139.5 hectares and a total volume of living trees of 31.2322 million cubic meters. There are mainly fir, spruce and other high-quality tree species.
Resource status
There are many kinds of animals and plants in re'er township. There are National Wetland Reserve, black necked Crane reserve and sika deer reserve. It inhabits black necked Crane, Tibetan mandarin duck, white stork, sika deer, red panda, forest musk deer and other rare animals. Tang Ke River quma was praised by Du Fu as "the bamboo has two ears and the wind is as light as four hooves". Rich in musk, Cordyceps, Fritillaria, rhubarb, sweet angelica, astragalus, Gentiana, pilose antler, snow lotus and other precious medicinal materials. The breed of Tibetan fragrant pig raised in forest area is pure and the meat is delicious. The curative effect of Tibetan medicine is miraculous, and "Pearl seventy pill" is well-known all over the world. "Green wind" brand yak meat food has beautiful color, fragrance and taste.
