Fangmaping Township
Fangmaping township is under the jurisdiction of Jinyang County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Tunzi township was established in 1956, Xiangyang Township in 1968, commune in 1972, fangmaping commune in 1981 and fangmaping Township in 1984.
In December 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province agreed to abolish fangmaping Township and put its administrative area under the jurisdiction of Pingzhen, where the people's town government of Pingzhen is stationed at No. 40, group 1, duiping village.
Fangmaping township is located in the southwest of the county, 75 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 46.5 square kilometers and has a population of 4000. It has jurisdiction over five village committees, namely luoha, Yuejin, shierqi, erpingzi and fangmaping.
The main agricultural products in fangmaping township are corn and potato. Animal husbandry is mainly pig and sheep.
