There are 430 kinds of high-yield crops in the county. The well-known Jinyang Qingshan pepper has thick skin, large grains, turquoise green, pure taste, rich and long-lasting, easy storage and transportation. It is an indispensable condiment for many brands such as Fuling mustard and Sichuan cuisine. The county green (flower) pepper suitable development area of 300000 mu, 210000 Mu to be developed, annual output of more than 1000 tons, output value of 30 million yuan, known as Sichuan green (flower) pepper first county. Jinyang white konjac is a treasure of konjac, especially in the unique climate, soil and industrial pollution-free environment of Jinyang, it has the characteristics of white color, fine sand, meat edge, high glucomannan. Products are widely used in petroleum exploration, chemical industry, printing and dyeing, textile, medicine, building materials, food packaging, etc. Recently, konjac soap, lotion and other cosmetic products have been developed. More than 80000 mu of arable land is suitable for growing Amorphophallus konjac in the county, and more than 60000 Mu is yet to be developed, which can produce 40 million jin of high-quality Amorphophallus konjac.

In December 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province agreed to abolish Mufu Township and put its administrative area under the jurisdiction of tiandiba Town, which is located at 128 xinyingpan Road, Chengnan community.

In 1962, Yijiayi Township established Songlin township. In 1972, it changed its name to commune. In 1981, it changed its name to Mufu commune. In 1984, it established Mufu township.

Mufu township is located in the west of the county, 20 kilometers away from the county. It has jurisdiction over five village committees: cangfang, laoxiangtang, zijiawanzi, yantoulong and wumiao.

Mufu Township mainly produces corn, potato, Zanthoxylum bungeanum and tung oil. Animal husbandry is mainly pig and sheep. Garlic is a specialty.

The main minerals are lead, zinc, copper, iron, gold, coal, phosphorus and other more than 20 minerals. Among them, lead-zinc ore is the most common and has large reserves. There are more than 30 deposits (spots), with proven lead-zinc ore reserves of more than 6.5 million tons and metal reserves of 304 thousand tons; proven iron ore reserves of 53 thousand tons and utilized reserves of 37 thousand tons; bauxite reserves of 76 thousand tons; metal content of 1 million tons in phosphate rock; limestone reserves of 150 million tons.
