DuGe town
DuGe town is subordinate to Huidong County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. In 2013, it was established by the merger of DuGe Township, Huoshan Township and Pingtang township. With an administrative area of 185.75 square kilometers and a permanent population of 16828 (2017), it has jurisdiction over 20 administrative villages.
Evolution of organizational system
Before Huidong County was founded, DuGe town now belongs to Yuge Township, Caiyu District, Huili County.
In July 1952, Huidong County was set up in xihuili county and Qiaojia county, and DuGe Township, Huoshan Township and Pingtang Township were set up in Huidong County.
In 1955, the new block area was abolished, and DuGe Township, Huoshan Township and Pingtang Township were classified as SCAD fish area.
In 1958, the township was withdrawn and changed into a commune. The former DuGe Township and Huoshan Township were merged to establish DuGe people's commune, and the former Pingtang township was changed into Pingtang people's commune.
In 1966, DuGe people's commune was renamed Hongqi people's commune, and Pingtang people's commune was renamed upstream people's commune.
In 1981, the Hongqi people's commune was divided into volcanic people's Commune and DuGe people's commune, and the upstream people's commune was renamed Pingtang people's commune.
In 1984, DuGe people's commune, Huoshan people's Commune and Pingtang people's commune were abolished, and DuGe Township, Huoshan Township and Pingtang Township were established.
In June 2013, DuGe Township, Huoshan Township and Pingtang Township were abolished, and DuGe town was established, which governs the original administrative areas of DuGe Township, Huoshan Township and Pingtang township.

In 2015, DuGe town governs 20 administrative villages and 85 villager groups.

Economics
The industrial chain of DuGe town is mainly agricultural production, supplemented by animal husbandry and supplemented by fruit forest. The area of cultivated land is 1492 hectares. The main food crops are corn, potato and wheat; the livestock products are black goat and semi fine wool sheep; the economic crops are flue-cured tobacco, vegetables and rape. In 2014, the total output value of agriculture, forestry and animal husbandry in DuGe town was 284 million yuan, the financial revenue was 8.8745 million yuan, and the per capita net income was 10500 yuan; there were 60 agricultural science and technology demonstration households and one agricultural industrial park; the corn planting area was 954 hectares, the output was 6460 tons, the potato planting area was 399.33 hectares, the output was 2110 tons; there were 958 employees in the secondary and tertiary industries, and the total industrial output value was 1.733 million yuan.
