Wangmiao Town, subordinate to Yutai County, Jining City, Shandong Province, is located in the southwest of Yutai County, bordering Tangma town in the East, Fengxian County in Jiangsu Province in the south, Yucheng town in the West and Wanglu town in the north, with an administrative area of 95.81 square kilometers.
In 1957, it was called Wang Miao township; in 1976, the temple of the king temple was relocated; in 1984, the commune was set up in the temple of Wang Miao; in December 1998, the temple was relocated in the countryside; in December 2000, the townships were merged into the original town; as of the end of 2018, the town had 62968 registered residence population; as at June 2020, 62 administrative villages were under the jurisdiction of Wang Miao Town; and the people's Government in Wang Miao village.

History of construction
In 1957, it was called Wangmiao township.
In 1976, Wang Miao commune was established.
In 1984, the commune was withdrawn and Wangmiao township was established.
In December 1998, Wangmiao town was established.
