Qingshuiyi Township

Qingshuiyi Township, belonging to Yuzhong County, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, is located in the northeast of Yuzhong County, adjacent to Weiying Township in the East, Xinying Township in the south, xiaoxiaoying Township in the West and Xiaguanying town in the north. The area is 163.5 square kilometers. In 2018, 20468 people registered residence.

In 1949, Qingshui township was established. In 1958, it was changed to Qingshui brigade of Gaoya commune. In May 1961, Qingshui commune was established. In April 1983, it was renamed qingshuiyi commune; in May of the same year, it was renamed qingshuiyi township. In June 2020, qingshuiyi township has jurisdiction over 16 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 7 industrial enterprises in qingshuiyi Township and 21 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

In 1949, Qingshui township was established.

In 1958, it was changed to Qingshui brigade of Gaoya commune.

In May 1961, Qingshui commune was established.

In December 1964, Su Bao commune was incorporated into Qingshui commune.

In April 1983, it was renamed qingshuiyi commune; in May of the same year, it was renamed qingshuiyi township.
